Her aim is to foster in other families the unique musical bond that she and her son enjoy. Stephanie is thrilled to be sharing her skills and experience; she particulary loves singing along with her classes to gentle lullabies strummed on her well-worn guitar. |

Camille Couture
Choral Conductor and vocalist Camille Couture has been involved in music all of her life. At the tender age of eight her parents gave her a classical guitar and from that point forward she has participated in music in a multitude of ways. As a freshman in college at the University of California at Santa Cruz, she fell in love with conducting and for the next fourteen years conducted chamber, church, and community choirs and even a rock band. To enrich her skills as a conductor and leader of vocalists, Camille studied voice throughout this time, and began to study the singing of opera seriously upon her return to California in 1998 from the University of Washington at Seattle, where she had recently earned a Masters degree in choral conducting. Through an opera colleague, Camille was introduced to Music Together, and enjoyed putting every bit of her experience to work as an MT teacher in the late 1990’s. Since then, many factors necessitated a hiatus from teaching Music Together, although not participation; Camille and her daughter Madison have been avid MT fans and participants since Maddy was 5 months old. Now, Camille eagerly awaits the chance to once again lead Music Together classes for children and the adults who love them. |
